Job Title: Desktop Deployment Technician
Location: W Building 3205 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC, 28208
Work Mode: Onsite
Duration: 8+ Months
 
Position Description
This position is responsible for completing hardware refreshes, including computers and some peripherals, for the duration of the Evergreen project.
 
Responsibilities

• Transport and store computer inventory following documented procedures, including the ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Image computers with Windows 11 using SCCM.
• Schedule computer replacements with end users through ServiceNow.
• Complete computer refreshes at end-user workstations.
• Reclaim and transport old computers.
• Document inventory updates within HAM Pro in ServiceNow.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance.
• Travel to various county buildings in a county vehicle driven by a full-time employee.

 
Required Experience

• 2+ years of experience with larger-scale deployments (1,000/year or similar).
• 2+ years of experience transporting and storing computer inventory following documented procedures, including the ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• 2+ years of experience imaging computers with Windows 11 using SCCM.
• 2+ years of experience scheduling computer replacements with end users through ServiceNow.
• 2+ years of experience with computer refreshes, reclaiming and transporting old computers, and documenting inventory updates within HAM Pro in ServiceNow.

 
Highly Desired

• Experience with ServiceNow and HAM Pro.
• Experience with Apple iPhone deployment.
