The role is offering a base salary of £125,000 plus excellent benefits. The business operates a remote-first model, with occasional travel to its London and Southeast office.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for a modern Azure and Snowflake environment, leading teams across platform engineering, quality, and governance. You will shape the data platform roadmap, drive delivery across both strategic change and BAU, and play a key role in building a scalable, secure and high-performing data capability.

The role will suit someone who combines strong technical depth with proven leadership experience in modern data platforms. You will be expected to improve engineering standards, strengthen DataOps and CI/CD practices, drive platform optimisation and cost control, and act as a senior partner to stakeholders across technology and the wider business.

Key requirements

  1. Strong experience leading modern data platform engineering teams
  2. Deep knowledge of Snowflake, Azure and cloud-based data environments
  3. Proven background in DataOps, DevOps, CI/CD and engineering best practices
  4. Experience improving platform scalability, quality, security and governance
  5. Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional delivery
  6. Strong people leadership skills, with experience building capable, high-performing teams
