Job Description

What you will do
In this position, you will be part of Klarna's incident response team, leading incident-related initiatives and improvement projects within a banking and financial services environment. You will drive structure, planning, and execution across incident response activities, ensuring progress, clear communication, and timely resolution during high-impact situations. Beyond live incidents, you will lead follow-up work such as root cause analysis, remediation planning, and delivery of preventive improvements that strengthen operational resilience. This position includes participation in an on-call rotation with compensation and requires calm, structured decision-making under pressure. We are looking for experienced project managers or highly technical professionals with the skills and experience needed to meet the outlined requirements.


Who you are
• Experience within the banking or financial services industry
• Background in incident management, problem management, DevOps, or technical project management
• Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, drive, and follow up complex incident-related initiatives
• Ability to bring structure and clarity to unstructured and fast-moving environments
• Comfortable making decisions under pressure while remaining calm and constructive
• Clear and effective communicator who can coordinate stakeholders during critical situations
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership, with a willingness to push progress and close loops


Awesome to have
• Experience leading incident response projects or major incident workstreams
• Experience driving post-incident reviews and long-term remediation initiatives
