Job description
- Location: Pensacola, FL
- Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola
- Department: Cardiac Cath Lab - Pre/Post
- Schedule: Day shift l Full-time
- Assesses, prepares and positions patients for procedures. Performs conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.
- Prepares, implements and documents plan of care. Communicates patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures.
- Performs and/or facilitates diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.
- Performs set up and provides equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.
Licensure / Certification / Registration
- Required Credential(s):
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Additional Preferences
- Prior ICU or Cath Lab RN experience.
