Convenience Store Sales Associate

Country Fair is seeking a friendly, reliable Retail Sales Associate to deliver outstanding service in our convenience stores. In this fast-paced role, you'll greet customers, operate the register, handle cash, and assist with fuel and foodservice transactions. You'll restock shelves, maintain clean, safe, and welcoming store and restroom areas, and support merchandising and inventory. Working as part of a customer-focused, community-oriented team, you'll gain hands-on retail and foodservice experience with opportunities to grow into leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt customer service at the register and sales floor
• Operate POS system, handle cash, and process payments accurately
• Restock shelves, coolers, and displays to maintain product availability
• Prepare and serve basic foodservice items following safety standards
• Keep store, restrooms, and forecourt clean and presentable
• Assist customers with product locations, fuel transactions, and inquiries
• Follow company policies, cash handling, and loss prevention procedures
• Support teammates to meet store performance and customer service goals
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to management
• Work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
