Job description

Build hands-on patient care experience as a Medical Scribe with DelRicht Research! If you’re preparing to apply to medical school or working toward a future career as a medical provider, this role offers the opportunity to work directly with patients, physicians, and clinical teams while developing practical clinical skills.

Your work goes beyond charting: you’ll support patients through clinical research visits, learn study protocols, and help keep clinical information accurate and up to date. We’re happy to train you in blood draws, EKGs, vital signs, and charting.

We’re looking for a quick learner, confident communicator, and independent team player who adapts well to change. Experience working with people in customer service, healthcare, sales, hospitality, or other fast-paced professional environments can bring highly transferable skills to this position.

Who We Are

DelRicht is a clinical research company dedicated to providing an excellent customer experience to all patients that participate in our clinical trials. Our clinical trials provide new treatment options for our patients and ultimately our goal is to get new medications and medical devices FDA approved! We hold our team members to a high standard of excellence and are looking for energetic, positive, quick learners to be a part of our team. Presently our network stretches across 33 sites throughout the United States in 18 states.

What You’ll Do

As a Medical Scribe, you’ll help provide quality patient care and a positive experience for participants in our clinical research studies. On the day to day, you'll:

  • Help patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their time in our clinic
  • Support accurate, efficient patient visits with 100% adherence to clinical trial protocols and site expectations
  • Support patient screening, enrollment, and retention with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and timely follow-through
  • Guide patients through their study journey to help them attend and complete required visits
  • Enter clinical data accurately and on time into required systems and platforms
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with patients, physicians, and other stakeholders

Skills Needed to Win

  • 1+ years of professional experience, ideally in a medical or clinical environment
  • Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a decisive, solutions-oriented approach to fast-moving or uncertain situations
  • High attention to detail and ability to stay organized across competing priorities
  • Ability to quickly learn protocols, systems, and clinical workflows
  • A collaborative, patient-focused mindset
  • Candidates must be comfortable performing clinical skills (blood draws, EKGs, vital signs, charting) in patient visits - we are happy to train!
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
