Job Description

Position: Business Analyst

Location: Denver, CO – Hybrid (Locals Only)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support technology projects, requirements gathering, vendor coordination, UAT, training, and application enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary Business Analyst for vendor-led technology projects.
Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements discussions.
Gather and document business and technical requirements.
Create BRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria.
Work with Project Managers and Solution Architects on scope, dependencies, assumptions, and change requests.
Develop communication plans for technology changes and releases.
Create training plans, training materials, job aids, and support train-the-trainer activities.
Coordinate UAT, including test scripts, user feedback, and defect tracking.
Gather requirements for application enhancements and smaller technology projects.
Support production issues by identifying problems, reproducing defects, and documenting business impact and reproduction steps.
Collaborate with business users, vendors, technical teams, and project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience as an IT/ITS Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role.
Strong experience in requirements gathering and business process analysis.
Experience creating BRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
Hands-on experience with UAT and defect management.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience working with vendors and cross-functional technical teams.
