The role will lead and coordinate deployment activities across multiple stakeholder groups, ensuring business areas are prepared for the transition to new systems, processes and ways of working.
Combining strong project management, stakeholder engagement and change capability, the Deployment Manager will ensure deployment activities are effectively planned, coordinated and delivered in line with broader program milestones.

Role Overview
The Deployment Manager will manage the activities required to successfully transition business groups onto a new enterprise platform.
Working closely with program leadership and multiple delivery workstreams, the role will coordinate deployment planning, business readiness, stakeholder engagement, scheduling, resources and dependencies to ensure successful go-live outcomes.
The position will also provide clear visibility of deployment progress, risks and issues through structured reporting and governance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to complex deployment and transformation activities, ensuring agreed scope, milestones and outcomes are achieved.
Manage deployment groups through structured planning, coordination, stakeholder engagement and business readiness activities.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, creating accountability and alignment around key deliverables.
Coordinate project resources supporting deployment and cutover activities.
Develop deployment documentation, workshop materials, plans and supporting artefacts.
Support the development and management of integrated deployment schedules, ensuring tasks, dependencies, resources and timeframes are clearly defined.
Monitor progress against agreed schedules, proactively identifying delays, risks and dependencies and escalating where required.
Coordinate regular status reporting to program leadership and governance groups.
Ensure stakeholders complete required readiness and deployment activities within agreed timeframes.
Support stakeholders through significant organisational, process and technology change.
Maintain momentum and accountability across delivery teams to support successful implementation within agreed timeframes and budgets.
Identify, assess and manage deployment risks, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are established.
Maintain accurate project documentation, records and governance artefacts.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Extensive project management experience within complex transformation or technology programs
- Demonstrated experience planning, coordinating and delivering large-scale deployment, implementation or business readiness activities.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance frameworks and delivery disciplines.
Experience managing complex project schedules, dependencies, resources, risks and issues.
Strong stakeholder management capability, including experience engaging senior stakeholders, managing challenging conversations and negotiating outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including developing presentations, workshop materials, status reporting and project documentation.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, exercise sound judgement and manage competing priorities within tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with the ability to identify risks, issues and practical solutions.
Demonstrated experience managing resources within complex project or program environments.
Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to project documentation and governance.
Experience using contemporary project scheduling and workflow management tools.
Experience assessing project and operational risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
Five or more years of project management experience across multiple phases of project delivery is highly regarded.
Organisational Change Management and business readiness experience is highly desirable.
