Job Description:

EDB Hybrid Manager, kubernetes, and Postgres expertise. Focus on candidates with Kubernetes and PostGres resources for now.

Updated:

• Design, deploy, and operate highly available PostgreSQL clusters on Kubernetes using industry-standard operators (CloudNativePG, CrunchyData, EDB), with expertise in StatefulSets, persistent storage, and multi-AZ architectures.
• Build and automate database infrastructure as code using Terraform and GitOps practices (ArgoCD/Flux), ensuring repeatable, scalable, and secure deployments.
• Implement and manage PostgreSQL high availability, backup, disaster recovery, and point-in-time recovery (PITR)
• Develop enterprise-grade observability, security, and compliance controls, including monitoring, alerting, RBAC, secrets management, encryption, audit logging, and data governance.
• Architect and support modern data platform capabilities such as CDC/streaming integration (Debezium/Kafka), analytics workloads, and PostgreSQL extensions including pgvector, TimescaleDB, and other ecosystem tools as required.
• Preferred Experience: 8+ years in platform/database engineering, with hands-on experience operating PostgreSQL environments on Kubernetes in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
