Business Recruiter

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Recruiter to lead full-cycle hiring across business and operations functions at a fast-growing applied AI company. You will work closely with recruiting and executive leaders to build strong teams across strategic projects, operations, and go-to-market.

What You'll Do

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for business and operations roles, from sourcing and screening through interviewing and closing.

• Build proactive talent pipelines among candidates with backgrounds in finance, consulting, private equity, and technology.

• Partner with recruiting and executive leaders to define hiring profiles, prioritize searches, and run structured interview processes.

• Develop and improve recruiting infrastructure, including scorecards, interview rubrics, sourcing tools, and offer processes.

• Track recruiting funnel metrics, assess stage-by-stage conversion, and adjust approaches based on results.

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of recruiting experience, with 4 to 7 or more years preferred, across agency and in-house environments.

• Experience owning full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through close, ideally at a high-growth startup.

• Experience building talent pipelines for business, operations, go-to-market, or other rigorous roles, with exposure to finance, consulting, or private equity talent pools.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with founders and senior business leaders.

• Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment with ambiguity, initiative, and a high level of ownership.

• Familiarity with recruiting systems and tools such as Ashby and LinkedIn Recruiter.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $150,000 to $225,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site, five days per week in San Francisco, California.
