Junior Accountant (m/f/d)


Location: Frankfurt am Main

Hybrid: 3 days per week in office

Fixed-term: 18 months


Our client, a fast-growing health-tech company, is currently hiring for Junior Accountant (m/f/d) to strengthen their Finance team, to support day-to-day accounting and financial reporting.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Support monthly and annual financial statements in DATEV.
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with cost centre accounting, consolidation under HGB, and tax filings.
  • Prepare financial analyses and reports.
  • Contribute to the digitalization and optimization of accounting processes.

Requirements:

  • Completed commercial training, ideally as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte/r), or an equivalent qualification.
  • Initial experience in financial accounting.
  • Good knowledge of DATEV and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of HGB and cost centre accounting.
  • Experience with Moss is an advantage.
  • Structured, reliable working style and willingness to learn.
  • Fluent German and good English skills.

Contract

The position is initially limited to 18 months, with the prospect of a longer-term continuation based on performance and business needs.
