Workforce Education Job Coach

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Job Coach to support our educational program. The successful candidate will assist in teaching plumbing and HVAC to students in grades 10-12. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the plumbing industry and a passion for sharing their expertise with others. Responsibilities

• Assist students in classroom settings and hands-on training facilities
• Assist teacher in monitoring student safety and delivering instruction
• Assist teacher and students in the shop classroom
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA guidelines
• Collaborate with the instructor and others
• Educate students on proper safety procedures and best safety practices
• Participate in professional development

Qualifications

• Strong motivational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years recent trade experience
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and regulations
• Must possess current background clearances
