Position: Security Operations & Engineering professional

Location: Colorado (Mon to Thu)

Job Description

• We are seeking a seasoned Security Operations & Engineering professional with 6+ years of hands-on experience in managing and securing complex enterprise environments.
• The ideal candidate will lead security platform operations, drive incident response, ensure compliance with industry standards, and champion cross-functional security initiatives.
• This role requires deep expertise in CrowdStrike, AWS Security, Okta, Zscaler, Mimecast, SIEM/SOC, IAM, Cloud Security, EDR, DLP, SASE, Security Automation (Python/PowerShell), and compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, SOC2, and NIST.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Security Operations & Engineering Lead, Incident Response & Compliance Champion, Cloud Security Platform Manager, Lead day-to-day operations of security platforms including SIEM, EDR, DLP, and IAM systems.
• Conduct in-depth investigations of security incidents and lead timely incident response efforts.
• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud (AWS) and on-premises environments.
• Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, SOC2, and NIST frameworks through governance, audits, and policy enforcement.
• Develop and automate security workflows using Python and PowerShell to enhance SOC efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive security initiatives and improve overall security posture.
• Manage and optimize SASE architecture components including Zscaler and Okta for secure access and identity governance.
• Oversee the configuration, monitoring, and tuning of CrowdStrike EDR and Mimecast email security solutions.
• Provide leadership in security architecture decisions and contribute to long-term security strategy.
