Job Title – Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM Functional

Location - Salt Lake ,Utah 

Duration – 6+ Months

Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite at Client Location

Note - This is a W-2 position, and we welcome candidates requiring H-1B transfer sponsorship to apply. No third-party vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and current-state assessments across planning, procurement, manufacturing, and inventory.

• Trace problems to their cause and sort each fix into process, configuration, master data, or enhancement.

• Map future-state processes and build phased roadmaps with sequencing, effort, and duration.

• Deliver improvement sprints: design, configure in a test environment, support testing, train users, and hand over.

• Configure and tune planning setups, including forecasts, safety stock, lead times, sourcing rules, batch sizes, and yield assumptions.

• Train client teams so they can run and maintain the system without ongoing outside help.

• Identify delivered functionality the client already owns but is not using, including features from quarterly updates.

Required Module Experience

Hands-on configuration and support experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM, with depth in the following:

• Supply Planning or Planning Central: planned orders, pegging, exception messages, planning parameters, safety stock, lead times, sourcing rules, and how planning output reaches buyers and planners

• Manufacturing: work definitions, work orders, operations, material issue, completions, yield and waste factors, and multi-stage production

• Inventory Management: transactions, sub inventory and locator setup, min-max and safety stock, cycle counting, lot and expiration control, and inventory accuracy

• Procurement: purchase orders, requisitions, approved supplier lists, blanket agreements, lead time maintenance, and how planning signals drive buyer action

Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Consultant

• Product Management: item attributes, item organization setup, structures and bills of material, and the master data that drives planning behavior

• Order Management: sales orders, transfer orders, back-to-back and make-to-order flows, and supply chain orchestration Helpful

• Cost Management: standard and actual costing, cost rollups, and variance analysis in a manufacturing setting

• Demand Management: statistical forecasting, forecast upload, and demand plan measures

• Quality Management: inspection plans and nonconformance handling

• Oracle Warehouse Management: material movement and reconciliation between WMS and Inventory

Required Skills

Functional and technical

• Ability to diagnose why a planning or manufacturing process produces the wrong result, and to distinguish a configuration problem from a data problem or a process problem.

• Working knowledge of how discrete and process manufacturing differ in Fusion, and which fits a given operation.

• Data loading and mass maintenance using FBDI, ADFdi spreadsheets, and import processes.

• Reporting with OTBI and BI Publisher, enough to build the views a planner or buyer needs day to day.

• Familiarity with integration patterns between Fusion and warehouse, quality, or brand-side systems, at a level sufficient to scope and troubleshoot.

• Understanding of the Oracle quarterly update cycle, including regression testing and evaluating new features against open client issues.

Consulting

• Facilitating workshops with people who know their job well but do not know the system.

• Process mapping and clear written documentation of current and future state.

• Translating system behavior into business consequences for operators and executives alike.

• Scoping and estimating work, and holding a schedule once committed.

• Training delivery to plant, planning, and procurement teams.

• Working independently onsite as the only consultant in the room.

Qualifications

• Experience: Five or more years working with Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM, including at least one full implementation and ongoing post-go-live support or optimization work

Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Consultant

• Industry: Manufacturing experience required. Dietary supplement, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or other regulated CPG manufacturing preferred, including lot traceability and cGMP environments

• Certification: Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM certification preferred

• Education: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience
