Job description

Immediate need for a talented Databricks Consultant. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Jersey City, NJ (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $55 - $60/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect scalable, high-performance data solutions with strong governance.
  • Lead solution design, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and guide engineering teams.
  • Design and implement batch and streaming data pipelines using Apache Flink and Apache Kafka.
  • Utilize Unity Catalog, Client Live Tables, and Databricks Workflows for effective data management.
  • Leverage your knowledge of Azure/AWS cloud platforms, ETL/ELT, and data integration.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • 5+ years of proven Solutions Architect experience with Databricks, Flink, and Kafka.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, SQL, and Client Lake.
  • Experience with Unity Catalog, Client Live Tables, and Databricks Workflows.
  • Knowledge of Azure/AWS cloud platforms and data integration techniques.
