This employer is seeking a Senior Cross Domain Systems Engineer to join their team and contribute to critical national security missions. The role involves leading the development and deployment of innovative digital cross-domain solutions, requiring a blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking to translate complex customer needs into effective engineering outcomes.

The Role

• Lead the development and deployment of digital cross-domain solutions.
• Manage customer engagement to capture, define, and understand user and security requirements.
• Decompose hardware, software, interface, and security control requirements.
• Coordinate stakeholder activities throughout system development, integration, testing, and deployment.
• Support system accreditation processes following the Risk Management Framework.
• Plan and implement cross-domain data flows and define data handling policies.

What You'll Need

• Experience developing requirements, including capability and system-level requirements, user stories, or use cases.
• Proven experience with technical written deliverables for system delivery or deployment efforts.
• Proficiency with collaboration and work tracking tools such as the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) and ServiceNow.
• Understanding of the Risk Management Framework and its application to system accreditation.
• Ability to plan systems delivery and deployment efforts, including technical plans, schedules, resource allocation, and risk tracking.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a polygraph exam.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent extensive experience.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Certification within six months of start date.
