The Role

• Manage the nursing schedule to ensure optimal patient care.
• Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness of nursing department staffing in collaboration with nursing leaders.
• Advise supervisors on any issues or problems related to the nursing schedule.
• Ensure all employee and student files meet Joint Commission and regulatory standards.
• Provide scheduling for educational opportunities for nursing staff.
• Draft professional correspondence, reports, and presentations.

What You'll Need

• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous experience in staffing or scheduling, preferably within a hospital setting.
• Excellent organizational and clerical skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee data.
