About the Role

We are seeking an Oracle APEX Developer & Database Specialist with approximately 1–2 years of professional experience to support database development, Oracle APEX application development, and business-focused technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Oracle database design, data modeling, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle APEX, along with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical, reliable solutions.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is proactive, responsive, analytical, and interested in understanding both the technology and the business processes behind it.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database solutions, including data models, tables, views, procedures, functions, and related database objects.

• Develop and enhance business applications using Oracle APEX.

• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL and PL/SQL code.

• Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Work directly with business users and stakeholders to understand needs and provide effective solutions.

• Support application security, user roles, permissions, and access management.

• Troubleshoot application and database issues and provide timely resolution.

• Support and improve existing applications and database processes.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and iterative development activities.

• Provide responsive technical support to users across multiple regions.

• Take ownership of assignments from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional experience in Oracle database development and/or Oracle APEX development.

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Oracle Database

  • Database design and data modeling

  • SQL

  • PL/SQL

• Hands-on experience developing applications with Oracle APEX.

• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.

• Understanding of application security, user roles, permissions, and access management.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and end users.

• Strong sense of ownership, responsiveness, and customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:

• Snowflake

• Alteryx

• Power BI

• GitLab

• HTML/CSS

• Agile/Scrum development environments

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid position based in Orlando, Florida.

Candidates must be able to work onsite in the Orlando office three (3) days per week. Remote-only candidates will not be considered.
