POLYPATHS SME / DATA ENGINEER

Introduction:

We are urgently looking for an experienced PolyPaths SME / Data Engineer for a Hybrid 1099 opportunity. This role will be based in New Jersey / New York and we are only considering local candidates. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of overall experience with a minimum of 10 years of strong hands-on experience with PolyPaths. Strong experience with Python and SQL is also required.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain PolyPaths models and analytics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements
• Design and implement data pipelines for efficient data processing
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot any issues
• Create automated processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and testing
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data engineering

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with PolyPaths
• Strong experience with Python and SQL
• Experience in developing and maintaining data models
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Knowledge of financial markets and products
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Strong communication and presentation skills
