PMO Analyst

On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a PMO Analyst on a 12 month contract based in Derby. Job description - the role What you'll do: Improve delivery consistency and predictability:

Define and embed standard project management methodologies, templates, and handbooks, ensuring best practice adoption.<br />Upskill project delivery workforce: Provide training, coaching, and facilitate communities of practice to raise capability across project and programme managers.<br />Enhance maturity and team satisfaction:

Assess P3M maturity, drive capability uplift, and ensure delivery teams feel supported and equipped for success.<br />Strengthen internal PMO capability: Coach and support PPMO and project analyst teams to improve skills and contribute to a high-performing team.<br />Align with enterprise capability initiatives:

Collaborate with Group PM capability teams to ensure consistency with global standards and leverage best practices.The skills you'll need:

Proven experience in project management or project analysis within a complex organisation.<br />Strong understanding of P3M methodologies (Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management).<br />Ability to translate best practice into practical guidance for diverse teams.<br />Experience in training, coaching, or capability development for project delivery professionals.<br />Excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills across multiple teams and levels.<br />Strong analytical skills to assess capability maturity and identify gaps.<br />Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities within a PMO environment.Next steps We will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
