Lead Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant

Position Overview:
• We are seeking an Oracle Fusion Finance Lead Consultant with 10+ years of experience to drive an end-to-end business transformation for a global initiative. Operating primarily in a remote capacity, you will serve as the primary advisory contact for client finance executives, steering committees, and corporate controllers. You will translate complex financial needs into standard Oracle Cloud SaaS capabilities and travel onsite once a month to facilitate key alignment milestones

Key Responsibilities:
• Executive Advisory: Guide corporate controllers and finance leads on Oracle Modern Best Practices (OMBP) through discovery and CRP workshops.
• Scope Governance: Manage onsite scope boundaries and evaluate RICEFW custom change requests to maximize standard SaaS adoption.
• Core Architecture: Design and configure Enterprise Structures (COA, primary/secondary ledgers, legal entities, business units, and reporting hierarchies).
• Multi-Org & Tax: Setup multi-currency systems, automated intercompany accounting (AGIS/Intercompany Engine), and global tax (e-Business Tax).
• Cross-Pillar Integration: Partner with SCM/Manufacturing teams to align subledger flows across O2C, P2P, and Inventory Costing.
• Subledger Accounting (SLA): Customize SLA rules to automate accounting entries for logistics, inventory transfers, and manufacturing events.
• Offshore Management: Write clear functional specs (FDDs) for offshore delivery, and review technical designs (TDDs) and unit testing.
• Data & Cutover: Lead data conversion (FBDI/HDL) for opening balances and open items, manage UAT, execute cutover reconciliation, and provide period-close hypercare.

• Record-to-Report (R2R) Lifecycle (Accounting, Closing the Books, & Reporting)
Modules: General Ledger (GL), Financial Reporting Web Studio, Allocations, Intercompany, Period-End Close
• Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Lifecycle (Purchasing, Supplier Invoicing, & Payments)
Modules: Accounts Payable (AP), Payments, Supplier Portal, Expense Management
• Order-to-Cash (O2C) Lifecycle (Customer Orders, Invoicing, Collections, & Revenue)
Modules: Accounts Receivable (AR), Advanced Collections, Revenue Management (ASC 606 / IFRS 15)
• Asset & Cash Management
Modules: Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CE), Bank Reconciliation, Cash Forecasting
• Technical Reporting Tools
Tools: SLA configuration, OTBI, BIP Reports, Smart View
Qualifications:
• Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in Oracle ERP Consulting, specifically focusing on core Financials.
• Industry: Mandatory experience in Pharmaceuticals / Life Sciences compliance and workflows.
• Track Record: Minimum 2 full-lifecycle Oracle Fusion Finance implementations as a Lead or Solution Architect.
• Travel Flexibility: Comfortable working remotely with the ability to travel onsite once a month (expenses fully covered).
• Skills: Strong executive-level communication, presentation, and offshore team coordination.
