Business Systems Analyst (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery)

Software Resources has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery) with a major organization in Orlando, FL. On-site 3 days per week, remote remainder of days.

For this role, it is important that candidates have proven, hands-on experience with Business Continuity, not simply general business analyst or project management experience.

Candidates who have directly worked with responsibilities such as:

• Developing and maintaining Business Continuity Plans
• Conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIA)
• Defining and validating RTO, RPO, and MTPD requirements
• Assessing application and business process criticality
• Identifying business, technology, infrastructure, and vendor dependencies
• Developing or supporting Disaster Recovery plans and recovery strategies
• Coordinating tabletop exercises, BC/DR testing, or recovery exercises
• Performing risk and gap assessments
• Tracking remediation activities and continuity risks
• Working with business owners, application teams, infrastructure teams, and leadership
• Developing Business Continuity standards, procedures, documentation, and governance processes

Experience with standards or frameworks such as ISO 22301, DRI Professional Practices, BCI, NIST, FEMA Continuity guidance, or ITIL is preferred.

Candidates with certifications such as CBCP, CBCI, MBCI, PMP, ITIL, or ISO 22301-related training/certification are also preferred, although demonstrated practical experience will be the primary consideration.
