Job Description

At Bosch, we shape the future by inventing high-quality technologies and services that spark enthusiasm and enrich people’s lives. Our promise to our associates is rock-solid: we grow together, we enjoy our work, and we inspire each other. Join in and feel the difference.
The Robert Bosch GmbH is looking forward to your application!

Join our Vehicle Motion Logistic Innovation team: We scout, validate, and roll out cutting-edge innovations across our VM manufacturing plants worldwide. Our focus areas include automation and digitalization: among others mobile robots (AGVs/AMRs), sensors, intelligent warehouses, and applied AI projects. We bridge the gap between modern technology and shop floor logistics.

  • During your internship you will support the international rollout of Industrial IoT (IIoT) devices (such as sensors and electronic displays / ESL) across our manufacturing plants.
  • You will assist in capturing site-specific requirements and evaluate operational needs with local plant teams.
  • Furthermore, you will help calculate business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and feasibility for new use cases.
  • You will support the technical configuration, scripting, and integration of devices (using APIs and JavaScript).
  • Moreover, you will conduct functional testing, help troubleshooting issues, and create user-friendly setup guides and documentation for plant teams.
  • Finally, you will coordinate and communicate remotely with cross-functional plant teams worldwide (no travel required).
  • Education: studies in the field of Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or comparable
  • Experience and Knowledge: basic understanding of the working principle of sensors and electronic shelf labels / displays (ESL); practical coding/scripting experience, specifically handling REST APIs and JavaScript; understanding logistics processes, especially internal transport and material flow
  • Personality and Working Practice: you excel at driving projects with high motivation, analyzing complex topics systematically, and organizing your tasks autonomously
  • Work Routine: we offer you the opportunity to work in a hybrid setup
  • Languages: good in English and German

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months

Requirement for this internship is the enrollment at university. Please attach your CV, transcript of records, enrollment certificate, examination regulations and if indicated a valid work and residence permit.
