Job Title: Banking technology team- Application Support I (Onsite)

Location: On-site in New York City, NY

Duration: 6-12 Months

Job Description:

• The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. The application support candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of our applications, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, performance, and security.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in one or more programming languages such as Python, SQL.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, SQL, Java, C++, C#, .Net
• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and best practices.
• Good database experience- ETL, SQL, Maintenance, tuning, 
• SQL querying skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL SERVER, Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL).
• Knowledge of windows system maintenance/Virtual machine maintenance  
• Fircosoft system, Actimize system experience highly preferred 
• Scripting experience in power shell highly preferred 
• Any other work assigned by IT Department Management
