Business Development Manager, Steel Detailing
Phoenix, AZ (Remote) | $100K to $140K base plus commission | 30% to 50% travel

Grow a fast-turnaround steel detailing business across North America by winning new fabricator clients and turning them into long-term partners.

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years in steel detailing, steel fabrication, or structural steel construction
  • 3+ years of B2B sales or business development, ideally selling detailing or technical services to fabricators
  • Proven record of winning new clients and growing revenue
  • Solid grasp of how detailing drives a fabricator's schedule and costs
  • Able to travel 30% to 50% across the U.S. and Canada

What You'll Do

  • Build and execute sales plans to win new steel fabricator customers
  • Grow existing accounts into repeat, go-to detailing partnerships
  • Scope opportunities with estimating and project management, and support proposals through handover
  • Represent the company at client visits, fabricator associations, and industry events
  • Own account plans and keep pipeline current in Salesforce

Nice-to-Haves

  • Established network in the North American steel fabrication community
  • Working knowledge of Tekla, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
  • Salesforce proficiency
