Job Description

Papiertechnologe | Wörth am Rhein, Germany | Hybrid This is an opportunity with a leading European paper industry company, recognized for its commitment to sustainability and its role in producing essential paper products. The company operates across multiple business segments and is dedicated to utilizing recycled materials, reflecting a strong focus on environmental responsibility. They are seeking a skilled individual to join their dynamic production team. The Role • Operate and monitor production machinery both on-site and remotely via the process control system. • Manage the startup and shutdown of the paper machine, including re-establishing the paper web during breaks. • Execute equipment maintenance tasks such as felt changes and direct support personnel. • Perform cleaning of machinery components and replace scraper blades. • Adjust and verify paper web tension settings. • Monitor key quality parameters using process control, quality control systems, and laboratory data. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training as a Paper Technologist or a comparable qualification. • Previous experience as a Paper Technologist is desirable. • Demonstrated ability to work independently, taking initiative and showing flexibility. • Strong capacity to handle demanding tasks and maintain performance under pressure. • Adaptability to a 5-shift work schedule. • A proactive approach to problem-solving and operational efficiency.
