IT / OT Automation Engineer

Proclinical is seeking an IT-OT Automation Engineer for an onsite role in Milton Keynes. This position focuses on supporting automation systems within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and a strong understanding of IT and operational technology integration.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain automation systems to ensure seamless operation within the manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IT-OT systems.
• Implement and optimize automation solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency and compliance.
• Ensure all systems adhere to regulatory and quality standards specific to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Conduct system upgrades, testing, and validation as required.
• Provide technical support and training to relevant stakeholders.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Practical experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing is essential.
• Strong knowledge of IT-OT integration and automation systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory if the candidate has relevant experience.
