Senior AWS Managed Services Cloud Architect

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks an AMS Cloud Architect III to design, implement, and optimize secure, highly available AWS Managed Services solutions for enterprise customers. You will lead discovery and architecture sessions, define landing zones, automation, and governance, and guide customers through migration and modernization to AMS. Partner with engineering, operations, and security teams to ensure resilient, compliant environments. Provide technical leadership, create reference architectures, perform reviews, and resolve complex incidents while mentoring engineers in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed culture.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable AWS Managed Services architectures
• Lead customer discovery, requirements gathering, and architecture workshops
• Define and optimize AMS landing zones, automation, and governance patterns
• Guide customers through migration and modernization into AMSCollaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams on solutions
• Create reference architectures, standards, and best practices documentation
• Perform architecture and security reviews of AMS environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues
• Ensure compliance, reliability, and operational excellence for AMS workloads
• Mentor engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
