Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Patient Services Operations & Transformation Lead to support a Rare Disease Patient Services organization within a global biopharmaceutical company.

This individual will help redesign and implement the Patient Services operating model, including new internal ways of working, governance, and the evolution of patient support for a key growth brand. A major component of the work will include supporting the transition to an outsourced HUB-based patient support model.

This is a highly visible, hands-on role requiring someone who can operate independently, work across senior stakeholders, and translate strategy into execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a new Patient Services operating model, including governance, roles/responsibilities, decision-making, and ways of working
  • Lead the redesign of the Patient Services model for a key growth brand
  • Support the transition to an outsourced HUB / patient support model
  • Coordinate across Patient Services, Market Access, Brand, Operations, vendors, and other cross-functional stakeholders
  • Define processes, workflows, responsibilities, and handoffs across internal and external teams
  • Identify operational gaps, risks, and dependencies and drive them through resolution
  • Develop leadership updates, recommendations, and executive-level materials
  • Drive strategic initiatives from design through implementation
  • Provide strong day-to-day ownership and keep workstreams moving forward

Ideal Background

  • Strong pharmaceutical or biotech experience required
  • Experience within Patient Services / Patient Support Programs
  • Experience with HUB services, patient access, reimbursement, or outsourced patient support
  • Experience designing or improving operating models, governance, and ways of working
  • Strong program leadership and cross-functional stakeholder management
  • Experience supporting specialty or Rare Disease products preferred
  • Comfortable working with senior leadership and external vendors
  • Able to operate independently in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
  • Director-level capability and executive presence with a willingness to remain hands-on
