Maintenance Engineer

Aspired Talent is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our client's busy manufacturing facility in Blackburn.<br /><br /> - Location:

Blackburn, Lancashire<br /> - Shift Pattern: 4 On, 4 Off<br /> - Shifts: 2 Earlies / 2 Lates<br /> - Hours: 7am–7pm / 7pm–7am<br /> - Shift Length: 12 hours<br /> - Shift allowance £3k<br /><br />The Role<br /><br />We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to ensure production machinery and equipment operate safely, efficiently and reliably.<br /><br />Key Responsibilities:<br /><br /> - Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs.<br /> - Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.<br /> - Maintain and repair production machinery, conveyors, motors and automated equipment.<br /> - Identify recurring faults and implement improvements to minimise downtime.<br /> - Support machinery installations, commissioning and equipment upgrades.<br /> - Work closely with production teams to maximise machine availability.<br /> - Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with Health &amp; Safety procedures.<br /><br />What We're Looking For<br /><br />- Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing or production environment.<br />- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.<br />- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.<br />- Knowledge of PPM and reactive maintenance.<br />- Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics.<br />- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.<br />- Relevant engineering qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience.<br /><br />APPLY NOW<br /><br />If you're an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for your next opportunity in Blackburn, we'd love to hear from you.<br />
