Front End Developer

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, high-quality user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript
• Translate design mockups and wireframes into pixel-accurate, reusable components
• Integrate front end applications with REST APIs and back end services
• Write unit and integration tests and take part in code reviews
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
• Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.1 / Section 508) across all features
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs, and help improve code quality and development practices
• Take part in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of professional front end development experience
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands-on experience with React (or Angular or Vue)
• Experience consuming REST APIs and handling asynchronous data
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript, Redux or similar state management, and Tailwind or a component library
• Experience with testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Basic back end knowledge (Node.js, Python/Flask, SQL)
• Experience building dashboards or data visualizations (D3, Chart.js, Power BI embedding)
• Experience with Figma or other design handoff tools.
