Job Description

Vibrint transforms national security missions through advanced technology, data, and responsible intelligence solutions. Our teams design, secure, deploy, and sustain critical capabilities that enable faster, more informed mission decisions across some of the nation's most complex operational environments. By joining this prime contract, you'll help modernize and support secure systems, networks, laboratories, and fielded infrastructure serving mission users at customer and remote locations.

As a Systems Administrator, you will sustain Linux and Windows infrastructure supporting DevOps and live mission systems across three backend environments at different classification levels. Working with a large government and contractor team, you will maintain physical servers, virtual machines, storage, and core services that mission and operations users rely on every day. You'll troubleshoot system and connectivity issues while collaborating with systems administrators, systems engineers, and network engineers across multiple contracts.

You'll also end your day knowing that you're doing work that truly matters. Position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required. Responsibilities

  • Administer and sustain Linux and Windows physical servers and virtual machines supporting DevOps and live operational systems.
  • Maintain backend services across three environments at different classification levels, including authentication, DNS, shared drives, and home directories.
  • Support authorized communications and troubleshoot connectivity issues across the supported infrastructure.
  • Review system monitoring, mission updates, and team communications to identify operational priorities.
  • Investigate and resolve Jira tickets with systems administrators, systems engineers, and network engineers.
  • Apply Linux security configurations and support STE/STN and DISA STIG compliance requirements.
  • Manage storage resources, including CFS/DFS and NetApp environments.
  • Configure and sustain virtualization platforms such as Proxmox, Red Hat KVM, and VMware.
  • Troubleshoot IP networking and firewall issues affecting system availability and access.
  • Support containerized and cloud environments.
  • Coordinate technical work across multiple contracts under government tasking and leadership. Qualifications
  • Extensive Linux administration experience supporting operational environments.
  • Ability to support an infrastructure environment containing both Linux and Windows systems.
  • Solid experience supporting STE/STN requirements and implementing DISA STIG compliance on Linux systems.
  • Experience managing storage technologies such as CFS/DFS and NetApp.
  • Experience administering virtualization platforms such as Proxmox, Red Hat KVM, or VMware.
  • Experience with IP networking and firewalls.
  • Some experience supporting containerized or cloud environments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate work across multiple technical teams, contracts, and government stakeholders.
  • A current IAT Level II certification.
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance.
  • Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations:
  • A high school diploma, plus twenty (20) years of systems administration experience; or
  • A bachelor's degree, plus fifteen (15) years of systems administration experience.

Desired Skills

  • Experience using automation tools such as Ansible or Salt.
  • Scripting experience with Bash, Python, Perl, or comparable languages.
  • Experience with backup tools such as Rubrik or NetBackup.
  • Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure platforms such as Harvester, Nutanix, or Cisco HyperFlex. ___________________________________________________________________ The pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
