This is a direct hire opportunity paying $34/hr during training and up to $110,000/year after.\nThis role is physically demanding — expect 700-900 cases per load, up to 80 lbs per case, 10-15 stops per day. \nExperienced food service drivers may qualify for a retention bonus of up to $10,000.Pay\n\n $34.00/hr during 3-4 weeks of training\n After training: component pay (stops + miles + cases)\n Daily minimum: $320/day\n Up to $110,000/year average\n Pay is bi-weekly\n Retention bonus: $5,000 to $10,000 for drivers with relevant years of food service experience, paid out during the first year! \nSchedule\n\n Monday through Saturday availability required\n 5-6 days per week, Sunday always off\n Start times vary between 10:00 PM and 4:30 AM — full flexibility required\n Routes scheduled for 10.5 hours, up to 14 hours when needed\n Up to 70 hours per week\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n\n Delivering food service orders to 10-15 stops per day across Metro DC and within a 2-hour radius of Manassas, VA\n Sorting customer orders in the trailer and loading onto a 2-wheeled hand cart or pallet jack at each stop, then rolled into their facility\n Handling product ranging from 20 to 80+ lbs, with trailers carrying 700-900 cases\nWhat You Need\n\n Valid CDL A\n 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL A driving experience\n Valid DOT med card\n Manual transmission experience preferred\n Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English\n Food delivery or physically demanding delivery experience preferred\n Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)\n Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements\n Must be at least 21 years old\nBenefits\n\n Health, dental, and vision insurance — available 1st of the month following 60 days of employment\n Life insurance\n 401(k) retirement plan\n Stock purchase program\n\nApply today, and a recruiter may reach out to learn more about you and walk you through the next steps.
