Assistant Sales Manager (Banquet Sales)

At Crowne Plaza, we like to lead from the front. We’re looking for a dynamic, confident, and ambitious Assistant Sales Manager – Banquet Sales with a passion for creating memorable events, building strong client relationships, and driving banquet revenue. You’ll work closely with the Director of Sales and the sales team to identify new business opportunities, convert leads into confirmed events, and achieve sales targets while delivering exceptional experiences for our guests.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

• Driving Banquet Sales – Generating business for weddings, social gatherings, corporate events, conferences, and other banquet functions.
• Building Client Relationships – Developing new accounts, nurturing existing clients, and converting enquiries into confirmed business.
• Creating Opportunities – Conducting sales calls, client meetings, hotel site inspections, and banquet venue show-arounds.
• Maximising Revenue – Preparing proposals, negotiating rates, following up on leads, and achieving sales targets.
• Delivering Seamless Experiences – Coordinating with Banquets, Food & Beverage, Culinary, and other departments to ensure memorable events.

• Staying Ahead – Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel, preferably in banquet sales.
• A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to generate leads, convert enquiries, and achieve revenue targets.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera Sales.
• Excellent coordination, organisation, and time-management skills.
• Candidates based in Delhi/NCR will be preferred.
