Cloud Engineer - Google Cloud Platform - candidate must reside in colorado

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform Cloud Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Terraform, and CI/CD automation to support cloud migration and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will build and manage enterprise cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), implement security best practices, and support highly available production environments. Participation in a rotating on-call schedule is required.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• 5+ years of Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform networking (VPC, Shared VPC, Compute Engine, Storage, IAM)
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, and YAML
• Experience with monitoring, logging, automation, and cloud security
• Experience with Windows/Linux infrastructure, containers, networking, and disaster recovery
• Enterprise-scale cloud deployment experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification
• Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer certification
