Job Description

KPM is looking for a reliable and skilled Multifamily Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our multifamily residential properties. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing excellent resident service.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
  • Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and emergency situations.
  • Assist with apartment turnover and make-ready processes.
  • Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Maintain maintenance tools and inventory materials.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to ensure property standards are upheld.
  • Adhere to safety and regulatory compliance guidelines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in multifamily maintenance or similar field preferred.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance tasks independently.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and on-call as required.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
