Surveillance Officer
Quick Overview
Job Description
About Prevail Partners
Prevail Partners is a leading British intelligence, security and operational support company. We help governments, NGOs and commercial organisations operate safely and effectively in some of the world's most complex environments by combining intelligence, technology and operational expertise. Our teams deliver actionable insight that helps clients manage risk, make informed decisions and achieve meaningful operational impact where it matters most.
Our shared mission is to deliver unrelenting excellence in everything we do, underpinned by integrity, curiosity, accountability and care.
About the Role
We are seeking exceptional Surveillance Officers to join our growing protective security team, supporting an Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) client as part of a specialist protective security programme. This is not a traditional Close Protection role. We are looking for highly capable surveillance professionals who can discreetly identify, monitor and assess potential threats, while gathering intelligence to support informed operational decision-making. Working as part of a wider protective security team, you will plan and conduct covert surveillance operations, identify hostile reconnaissance and suspicious activity, and contribute to the protection of people, property and reputations. Success in this role requires professionalism, discretion, sound judgement and an unwavering commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of service.
The role may require travel throughout the UK, together with occasional overseas deployments and overnight stays, depending on operational requirements. While candidates may be based anywhere in the UK, successful applicants must be able to travel and deploy at short notice when required. Given the responsive nature of the role, a high degree of flexibility, professionalism and operational readiness is essential, and candidates should not have competing commitments that could affect their availability to support operational demands.
Beyond operational experience, we are seeking individuals who are patient, disciplined and methodical in their approach, with the maturity and self-awareness to operate effectively in demanding environments. The successful candidate will be able to work independently while remaining a valued and collaborative member of a wider team, consistently demonstrating integrity, reliability and a strong sense of personal accountability. Above all, they will share our commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of service and contributing to a culture of excellence across the protective security function
