Our Lab Assistant is a support position in the laboratory setting. Students, individuals with patient care background and others with some lab experience would be a great match for this role! This position primarily will work at the Sauk Crossing Clinic but will include travel to other clinics as needed, including Cold Spring, Clearwater, St. Joeseph, Becker, and Big Lake Clinics.

What you’ll do:

• Collect blood samples from the patient
• Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients
• Perform low complexity testing and culture set-up
  

Schedule:

• Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks
• Day Shift | Monday - Friday | Shifts 7am-4pm, 7:30am-4:30pm, 8am-5pm, or 8:30am-5:30pm
• No weekends or holidays.
  

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $20.47 per hour and increases with experience
  • Pay range: $19.53 - $29.28 per hour

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prefer graduate from or in the process of pursing a phlebotomy certificate from an accredited laboratory program or medical -related program
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills
