Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Associate for an Onsite position with a Major Pharmaceutical Company located in Millsboro, DE. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.
This role is part of a manufacturing operations team at a Biotechnology Center of Excellence that produces animal vaccines. Working with a "Safety First, Quality Always" mindset, the associate will follow Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures. A critical requirement for this role is the ability to work a flexible, rotating shift schedule, including overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed to meet manufacturing demands.

Responsibilities:
- Clean work area including floors, walls, and tables
- Prepare, clean, and sterilize glassware and equipment for use
- Assist with equipment setup and operation
- Assist with performing aseptic procedures including product formulation, fill equipment setup and operations, and environmental monitoring
- Maintain concurrent record keeping including charts, log books, and all pertinent documentation
- Demonstrate safe work habits and maintain a safe work environment
- Formulation, filling, labeling, capping, packaging and visual inspection of vaccines
- Assist in training new team members
- Report all unusual, non-routine occurrences when performing tasks
- Assist with performing non-aseptic procedures including handling of poultry in the process of harvesting tissue or waste
- Assist in reviewing and developing S.O.P's and reviewing production records
- Assist in monitoring and requisitioning laboratory supplies
Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED with industry related lab experience or Bachelor's with industry or academic lab experience
- 1+ year of lab experience
- Able to apply knowledge and skills to complete assigned work
- Ability to read, write and comprehend information and to effectively convey information to colleagues
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and conversions
- Ability to work standing for long periods of time
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including overtime, holidays, and weekends with rotating shifts
Desired skills:
- Aseptic clean room behaviors experience
- Laboratory experience
- Biology or chemistry education background
- Mechanical aptitude
Pay range: up to $22.33 per hour
