Accounting Clerk

Our client, a manufacturer in Lake Wales is seeking a dedicated Accounting Clerk to join their team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be an essential part of the finance department supporting daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Lake Wales, FL

Pay Range: $18-20/hr

What's the Job?

• Handle basic Accounts Payable (AP) tasks with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents
• Utilize Microsoft Office products, with a preference for Excel proficiency
• Work independently after training to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time
• Reconcile financial items such as purchase orders, invoices, discounts, credit memos, and final payments

What's Needed?

• Experience with general AR/AP functions or handling similar accounting tasks.
• Ability to accurately file and organize financial documents
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
• Effective communication skills via phone and with other departments
