Role Summary

Motivated and energetic engineers who are passionate about building modern, scalable, secure, and cloud-native software solutions. Software Engineer II professionals are responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying enterprise applications while contributing to automation, cloud, and AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy complex software solutions using Agile, XP, and Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
• Build end-to-end web applications, including front-end, backend services, APIs, databases, and cloud integrations.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworks.
• Build RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js, Express.js, Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django), or similar technologies.
• Develop scalable microservices and event-driven architectures for enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, designers, developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions to improve software quality and team effectiveness.
• Design and manage integrations between applications, internal systems, cloud services, and third-party platforms.
• Develop and optimize SQL and NoSQL database solutions, including data modeling, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects while implementing preventative measures to improve reliability.
• Ensure applications comply with cybersecurity, performance, availability, and scalability standards.
• Mentor and support junior developers.

Generative AI Experience

• Experience using Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, and Azure OpenAI to accelerate software development and improve productivity.
• Build AI-powered applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, vector databases, embeddings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Develop AI-enabled features such as chatbots, copilots, document intelligence, code assistants, and knowledge management solutions.
• Integrate Generative AI capabilities into web applications and APIs using cloud-based AI services and SDKs.

Agentic AI Experience

• Support the development of Agentic AI solutions capable of automating workflows, executing tasks, performing validations, and interacting with enterprise systems.
• Utilize AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, OpenAI Agents, and Amazon Bedrock Agents.
• Build intelligent agents that leverage APIs, enterprise tools, and business rules to automate operational processes.

Required Qualifications

• 9+years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Angular, Node.js, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs and microservices.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, PCF, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or Docker.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, DevOps, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
