SAP HANA Modeler / Analytics Lead / Architect

Role: Senior SAP HANA Modeler / Analytics Lead / Architect

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP HANA Modeler / Analytics Engineer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade analytical models supporting manufacturing cost analysis, commercial profitability, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SAP HANA graphical and SQL-based calculation views.

• Integrate SAP PP, SD, and FI data for manufacturing cost analysis and commercial profitability reporting.

• Work with SAP SLT replication to ensure reliable, near-real-time data availability.

• Develop analytical models for production costs, sales revenue, COGS, gross margin, and profitability.

• Troubleshoot SQL performance, data discrepancies, join cardinality, and aggregation issues.

• Support SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WebI) reports and universes.

• Integrate external data sources using SAP BODS or comparable ETL tools.

• Support ThoughtSpot analytics and self-service reporting.

• Ensure data quality, reconciliation, documentation, and production stability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in SAP HANA modeling and analytical development.

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA calculation views and advanced SQL.

• Good knowledge of SAP ECC/S/4HANA tables and processes across PP, SD, FI, and preferably CO.

• Experience with manufacturing costing, production orders, material movements, billing, accounting documents, and profitability analysis.

• Hands-on experience with SAP SLT or similar replication technologies.

• Experience with WebI and SAP BODS or equivalent ETL solutions.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• SAP HANA Sidecar architecture and near-real-time analytics.

• Product costing, standard versus actual costing, WIP, and production variances.

• SAP CO-PA / S/4HANA Margin Analysis.

• HANA performance analysis using Explain Plan, SQL Plan Cache, and PlanViz.

• ThoughtSpot analytics experience.

• Familiarity with ITAR-controlled environments.

Ideal Candidate

A hands-on SAP HANA specialist who can trace data from SAP source tables through SLT replication and complex calculation views, reconcile manufacturing costs with financial postings, and deliver accurate profitability reporting across WebI and ThoughtSpot.
