Job Title: Looker Developer

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain LookML models and dashboards to enable self-service analytics.
• Design, write, and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into effective data visualizations.
• Implement data manipulation and cleaning techniques to ensure data quality and reliability.
• Establish and maintain efficient data pipelines, aggregate tables, and pre-filtering methods that enhance reporting performance.
• Leverage conditional formatting and interactive visualization components to present actionable insights.
• Document developed solutions and best practices to support ongoing maintenance and scalability.
• Evaluate and integrate additional tools or techniques in data analytics and visualization to enhance overall system performance and usability.

Qualifications -

• 8+ years of experience i Looker and LookML, with demonstrable experience building data models and dashboards.
• 8+ years of experience in SQL and experience manipulating large datasets.
• 4+ years of experience in data visualization principles and tools
• Proven ability to handle data quality issues including cleaning, preprocessing, and anomaly detection.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to think logically and devise effective data solutions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work in a dynamic, agile environment.

Nice to have - 

• Experience working with cloud-based data storage and analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with additional programming languages or data processing tools.
• Demonstrated experience in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable data solutions.
