JOB SUMMARY
Vaco is currently seeking an Azure Infrastructure Engineer for a 6M C2H opportunity that is remote.  The Azure Infrastructure Engineer will take ownership of Azure engineering work, currently being handled by the architecture team, and will primarily focus on building, automating, and expanding cloud capabilities.

About the Project: The organization is rapidly expanding its Azure footprint and currently relies heavily on architects for engineering work.  This is an opportunity to become the Azure Infrastructure Engineer for a rapidly growing healthcare organization that''s heavily investing in cloud. Instead of maintaining legacy infrastructure, the Azure Infrastructure Engineer will work directly with architects to own Azure engineering, automation, IaC, and cloud deployments while helping shape the organization''s cloud strategy. The manager is highly respected, gives engineers autonomy, values long-term career growth, and is looking for an engineer who wants to grow into the organization''s Azure SME.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Infrastructure / Cloud Engineering (3+ years | hands-on) – Designing / Deploying / Supporting Enterprise Infrastructure / MS Azure Environments
• Azure IaaS / PaaS Infrastructure – Designing / Deploying / Configuring / Administering Azure Services
• Cloud Solution Implementation – Partnering with Cloud / Infrastructure Architects | Translating Solution Designs into Engineered / Deployed / Operational Azure Environments
• PowerShell Automation – Developing PowerShell Scripts Supporting Infrastructure Automation / Bulk Administration / Configuration Management / Repeatable Operational Processes
• Infrastructure Automation / IaC – Applying IaC Principles / Terraform Supporting Automated Azure Infrastructure Deployment / Standardized Cloud Environments
• Azure Networking – Designing / Supporting VNets / Subnets / Routing / Connectivity / Network Security / Cloud Hub Architectures
• Hybrid MS Infrastructure – Integrating Azure Services with Windows Server / Active Directory / DNS / Identity Services / Existing On-Prem Infrastructure
• Cloud Security / Governance – Implementing Secure Azure Infrastructure Supporting Enterprise Security Controls / Governance Standards / Information Security Requirements
• Infrastructure Troubleshooting – Performing Root Cause Analysis / Troubleshooting Azure / Windows / Identity / Networking / Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Issues
• Technical Ownership – Managing Multiple Infrastructure Initiatives Independently / Prioritizing Deliverables / Driving Successful Project Execution with Minimal Supervision
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partnering with Technical Teams / Business Stakeholders | Translating Business Requirements into Scalable Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions
