The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers within an intermodal yard.
• Load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
• Position containers and chassis accurately using hostlers.
• Stack, move, and organize containers efficiently.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Collaborate effectively with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily logistics.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders and stairs, and lifting up to 50lbs.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and adhere to flexible schedules, including shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and a keen eye for detail.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background verification, physical, and drug screening.
