RESPEC seeks an experienced Project Controls Office Manager to join our Mining & Energy Team in Lexington, KY.
We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Project Controls Office Manager to play a key role in supporting the financial and operational success of our projects and office. In this role, you will partner closely with Project Managers and Program Managers to provide critical project controls and accounting support—ensuring projects are set up for success, tracked accurately, and delivered efficiently.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing project setup, budget and schedule monitoring, billing coordination, receivables support, and financial reporting. Acting as a trusted resource, you’ll help leaders make informed decisions by delivering clear insights into project performance, including weekly and monthly reporting on key financial metrics. You will also collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to strengthen project management processes, improve consistency, and drive operational excellence.
In addition to project controls, this role supports the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of the Lexington office. You’ll help create a seamless and efficient workplace by supervising administrative staff, coordinating office activities, and ensuring strong support for internal teams.

Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting or managing business financials
- Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
- Project management and financial systems (e.g., BST, Power BI, Salesforce, or similar)
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles and project management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel
Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Experience implementing system improvements or workflow enhancements across teams or programs
Compensation: Compensation depends on experience and expertise. The typical hourly pay for this role is $28.85 to $38.46. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package. RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company, and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
