SAP Business One Consultant

We're looking for an experienced SAP Business One specialist to take technical ownership of a mature SAP B1 estate, covering customisations, integrations, add-ons, reporting, and supporting database services. This is a hands-on technical leadership role with responsibility for delivery, support, and guiding a small development function.

Working pattern: Hybrid, with an expectation that you'll be onsite at least 1 day per week.

You will be responsible for:

• Technical ownership of SAP Business One and its customisations, integrations, add-ons, reporting, and supporting database services.
• Line management and technical leadership of internal developers, plus oversight of third-party development partners when required.
• 2nd/3rd line support for complex SAP Business One incidents, problems, and change requests.
• Delivering development work through the agreed SDLC, project governance, and IT change management processes.
• Building strong working relationships with business process owners, key users, Service Desk, infrastructure/security teams, and external suppliers.

Key Skills:

Please note: This role requires SAP Business One expertise specifically. SAP ERP (ECC6/7, S/4HANA) experience is not considered equivalent for this position.

• Expert SAP Business One knowledge (architecture, data model, configuration, customisation options)
• Boyum IT B1 Usability Package (advanced use: function buttons, validations, universal functions)
• Boyum IT Print and Delivery (or comparable SAP Business One output management tooling)
• Strong SQL capability across:
• SAP HANA SQL
• Microsoft Transact-SQL (T-SQL)
• Query optimisation and investigation of data/performance issues
• C#/.NET development (strong, hands-on)
• SAP Business One integration/extensibility experience, such as:
• SDK, DI API, UI API, Service Layer, and/or SAP Business One Integration Framework (as relevant to the environment)
