Change Management Program Manager
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Onsite)
Role Overview
This position is for an IT Program Manager specializing in Change Management. The role is central to administering the overall change management for the project portfolio, which involves planning, coordinating, and facilitating software deployment and technology change processes. The successful candidate will work within a team to ensure successful and compliant outcomes, leveraging the Remedy ticketing system.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee changes, programs, and project initiatives across the organization, including cross-functional efforts involving multiple technical teams.
  • Act as the primary point of coordination, managing dependencies, risks, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise change, security, audit, and risk management standards.
  • Handle stakeholder coordination, records maintenance, process documentation, and intake governance.
  • Manage work prioritization, operational readiness activities, reporting, and continuous process improvement.
  • Provide visibility into change and delivery health, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Promote collaboration across software developers, scrum masters, project managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Work both independently and in partnership with peer Program Managers to improve delivery flow and drive efficient execution.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in Project, Program, or Change Management with a focus on technology delivery coordination or enterprise change governance is preferred.
Technical Skills:
  • Experience with ITSM tools such as BMC Remedy, JIRA, and project risk management tools like PPRT.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools, specifically Jira.
  • Background in Project or Technical Management.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in banking or financial services, with knowledge of business unit functions and enterprise operating models.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to report to senior leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Proven ability to assess readiness, identify risks, and minimize compliance and operational impacts.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and managing work across multiple teams.
  • Ability to prioritize work, balance demands, and align delivery with team capacity.
  • Experience navigating enterprise change, security, risk, audit, and compliance processes.
  • Strong collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to build partnerships and influence outcomes.
  • Proven ability to make decisions, initiate action, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies and Change Management principles.
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools for documentation, planning, or workflow management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to occasionally work nights or weekends as required to support change activities.
