Responsible for ensuring product conformity to blueprint
Inspect hardware using various inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, comparator, height gage, indicator, profilometer, hardness tester, etc.
Review &/or manage calibration log & schedule for Inspection & Mfg areas
Review work order for completion of operations and required documentation
Review ERP (JD Edwards) system for required retained information
Review raw material certificates and ensure conformity to industry or internal standards
Ensure products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
Interface with internal departments to engage in activities that ensure continuous control over material, services and products.
Create and modify comparator overlays
Document, investigate, & contain non-conforming material
Other duties as assigned.
