Position Summary:
- The Electrical Engineer will support a team that performs advanced research, development, and systems engineering to ensure warfighter superiority across training systems, cyber warfare, fleet readiness, and sustainment solutions for the U.S. Navy.
- This role will be responsible for ensuring systems are working and communicating together through system design, review, testing, analysis, modeling, reporting, etc., especially in situations involving signals and electronic warfare.
- Perform systems engineering activities on Cryptologic Carry-On Equipment (COE) and Electronic Warfare (EW) programs supporting military intelligence operations
- Support integration of tactical electronic systems across U.S. Navy platforms
- Support COE/EW deployment concepts and operational use
- Apply RF engineering principles to design, analysis, and system performance evaluation
- Collaborate with cross functional engineering and program teams to ensure system effectiveness and compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline
- Active TS/SCI clearance / a CI poly is a major plus (not required to start)
- 4+ years of experience in:
- Systems engineering on COE or EW programs
- Fully integrated tactical systems for military intelligence missions
- Engineering support for U.S. Navy and warfare systems.
- 3+ years of experience in:
- COE/EW concepts and operational deployment
- RF design and analysis, including:
- Propagation prediction and measurement
- Receiver modeling and analysis
- Signal detection and characterization
- Non cooperative demodulation of signals of interest
- Antenna array modeling
- Operating systems experience in Windows and Linux
